WHY IS LET IT GO… ALL THE SONGS FROM FROZEN SO ANNOYINGLY CATCHY?

Anyways, I was inspired to draw Elsa again, after hearing the Idina Menzel version of Let It Go on the radio. I am actually very happy that this version is on the radio, and not the Demi Lovato version, though both are equally as nice.

On a sudden stroke of inspiration and boredom, I drew Elsa at the end of the song, where she sings: The cold never bothered me anyway.

On lined paper. AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!

I hope you like!

“There’s nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean itself, except that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you’ve been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent.”

Here’s an oil pastel drawing of a flower. I can’t really name the flower, but this is mainly abstract.

Thank you!

In case you haven’t seen on my older post of Elsa from Frozen, I added this scanned picture of it. I think I’m going to redraw this, and color it, make her cape way longer, as it is in the movie, and straighten up a few things. But here’s my little doodle again.

Here’s her part that this is based on, in First Time in Forever:

Don’t let them in, don’t let them see

On A Mountain

on a mountain close2

A close up picture of one of my first drawings of a place/landscape. In case you can’t identify, the scribble-y  things are trees, and the brown things are houses. I’m working on this area especially, and I don’t have practice in it. It’s on snow, and the shadows I think is the part I might have done best. For this, I only used colored pencils. Feedback?

This is the original picture of the mountain. It has several trees. I was observing,  as many people suggest you do, to my surroundings, and I found that it helps. A lot. 🙂 I learned the shadows, of trees and of snow, on my way driving up the mountain last winter. I’ll remake this, as I lost it a year ago.

Snow is such an amazing thing. It has a certain sparkle and gleam that must take a lot of practice to capture. And the shadows are blue, and such a pretty kind of blue as well. I should observe more often. 😀

A Drawing of Elsa from Frozen.

I really like this movie, even though it wasn’t the best. What I liked was the moral, how the characters were expressed (especially Anna) and the music. Honestly, Let it Go is amazing, and I had it stuck in my head for the past three months. 😀

Please credit me.

I know, These are really bad pictures. I really need to start using the scanner! Oh, and sorry for the lined paper. I begin to draw something without noticing that I need real paper.

Thanks to anyone following, and reading this blog!

Edit: Ah, I scanned it!

First Like?

I got a like on my blog For Seeker’s First match!

I don’t know if it was an automatic thingy from the person’s blog, because it was seconds after I posted it, or if she actually liked my drawing. But even though I might never meet that person, I feel so grateful that my work is somewhere, and that people might eventually see it! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, I feel very proud. 🙂
